Why we fit.
Returns processing has wear characteristics that punish high-end packaging. The math of using A-grade or new boxes for returns staging is bad — they get damaged on the first cycle. Grade B and C reclaimed inventory is the right tool. Cheaper, more durable to abuse, and recyclable when retired.
Where we don't fit.
For returns destined for re-sale through brand channels, the outbound packaging from your facility back to the customer might require new corrugate. We supply the inbound side, not the outbound brand-facing side.
Snapshot numbers.
| Metric | Value |
|---|---|
| Grade mix | 50% B, 50% C |
| Format | Mostly open-top |
| Pickup cadence | Weekly or biweekly |
| Cost vs new for returns | ~55% lower per cycle |
How we typically onboard a Returns customer.
- First inquiry. You email us. We respond same business day.
- Spec conversation. Short back-and-forth to nail down what you need.
- Sample order. One pallet or partial trailer to test fit.
- Quarterly cadence. If the sample works, we move to recurring orders.
- Net-30 terms. After a clean second on-time transaction.
- Closed-loop conversation. Once volume is established, we talk about whether a reverse-logistics program makes sense.
Frequently asked.
Can you co-locate inventory at my facility?
For high-volume accounts (5,000+ boxes/month), we can pre-position a recurring inventory at your dock. Logistics handled month-to-month.
Do you buy back the boxes my returns center generates?
Yes — see our buy-from-you service. Recurring monthly buybacks are a common pairing with our returns supply.
Can the same boxes go back out as fresh packaging after a wash?
Sometimes. Open-top returns boxes are usually too cosmetically used for resale staging. Lidded boxes have a better chance. We'll regrade and tell you what each load can support.
